We're designing a concrete joist in the form of a T-Beam "array" to carry
LARGE concentrated loads on a cargo-ship wharf.

The load is 350-Kip from outrigger on a loading crane, applied to a 42" square
outrigger pad.

The joist will have a 10" thick composite deck on top of it.

I know that this load can be distributed amongst more than one T-Beam, but am
unsure as to how to approach it. Does anyone have any suggestions, preferably
backed up with references?

Thanks much.
