GENERAL CALL FOR PAPERS (UPDATE)
44th ANNUAL CONFERENCE
November 15 - 17, 1999
Quebec City, Quebec CANADA
UPDATE: Abstract submission deadline has been extended to March 19th, 1999.
The Canadian Technical Asphalt Association invites paper proposals
(Abstracts) for the 1999 CTAA Annual Conference. Proposed papers can be on
any aspect of asphalt technology (materials, mixes, production, placing,
compaction, design, monitoring, etc.) with the general requirements that the
proposed paper not have been previously published in a similar form, be free
of direct commercialism promoting products or practices from which the
author could benefit, be properly prepared for the proceedings, and be
presented by the author (or one of the authors) at the conference, if
selected.
Please submit abstracts of about 500 words (or draft of proposed paper, if
available) to the technical Program Chair, Jean-Martin Croteau, CTAA
Technical Program Committee, c/o Miller Paving, P.O. Box 4080, Markham,
Ontario L3R 9R8. All the abstracts received by March 19, 1999 will be
reviewed by the Technical Program Committee and the authors of the papers
selected will be notified by March 31, 1999. Authors must submit full
papers to the Program Committee not later than May 31, 1999.
Please include the name, title, affiliation, address and telephone/fax
number of each author on the attached submission cover sheet and clearly
indicate which author(s) will make the presentation, when submitting the
abstracts. Please do not hesitate to contact Jean-Martin Croteau by e-mail

with questions concerning abstracts for the Technical Program of the 1999
annual conference of the CTAA.
