The event, which is a business-oriented one, where both industry and academy are expected to meet and exchange ideas and information on a practical level, is expected to point the way towards sustainable economic growth. The Eco Efficiency 2000 Conference will take place in Malmö, Sweden from 19 to 21 June 2000. Those colleagues working in industry, as well as academia are invited to submit abstracts of their papers on research findings/ results as well as best practice covering one or more of the conference themes: · Society and Eco Efficient development · Corporate strategy/Business development · Financial perspectives · Product development, innovation and design · IT and communication · Materials · Energy and transport · Biotechnology · Eco Efficiency in newly industrialised countries (NICs) and countries in transition (CITs), with focus on the Baltic area.
