Our firm is looking for several bridge engineers and bridge inspectors. Bridge engineering posistion requires a P.E.. Inspectors can be engineers with EIT minimum and PE probably preferred if one desires to be a bridge inspection team leader. Currently have a three (3) year bridge inspection contract with local municipality, three (3) year contract for bridge repair and rehabilitation with a local municipality, and a three (3) year contract with state for inspection services. Current workload requires that we add staff for our transportation division immediately. Our firm is also looking for a structural engineer with experience in the design of commerical buildings. Structural steel and concrete experience a must. Looking for a "team leader" to spearhead structural projects working with a full-service team. Able to oversee the work of EIT's required. Good communication skills and organization a must. P.E. is required for this position. Firm is a full service, 100 person, employee owned firm. Firm stresses and is committed to TQM and self directed teams. Looking for the right individuals that can hit the ground running and take charge. Terrific potential for growth. Firm is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, one hour from Colonial Williamsburg, Bush Gardens Theme Park, Water Country USA. Four hours to Washington DC, four hours to Blue Ridge Mountains. We offer not only bridge design and inspection possibilities but substantial cross training in building design and construction. Most building projects located overseas. Our firm does work in Italy, Spain, Morroco, Iceland, United Kingdon, Egypt, etc. etc. Knowledge of the metric system a plus!
