I think vendors should advertise in the SEAOC newsletter and space should
be provided at www.seaoc.com. I think these vendors should pay for this
advertising to support both SEAOC and the web site.

Since we have comments and questions about specific applications here on
the list serve, I think it would be appropriate for the vendor/author of
the software to respond specifically to the questions and comments raised
(from the horse's mouth, so to speak) but not to provide this as an
opportunity to advertise. There is some gray area here, but the vendors
should use caution or otherwise be subjected to the wrath of the
participants of the list serve (which I know VERY well).
